Each 4th of July hundreds join in this patriotic celebration at Fairfield Bay. The days activities kick off with a traditional town parade, showcasing  floats from Fairfield Bay and neighboring towns.The 4th of July Parade says a lot about the Bay, with its strong sense of community and deeply felt national pride. A majority of the Bay’s residents have served in the military and it shows with flags flying all over this beautiful community. Quite a site to see.Then comes the big fireworks display. This day long celebration is a must summertime experience for anyone longing for a time when things were less busy.

Parade & Fireworks

star  9am ~ 4th of July Parade

Parade begins at 9:00am from the First Baptist Church  down Dave Creek Parkway thru FFB Mall back on Dave Creek to Woodland Mead Park.  Grand Marshals of this year’s parade will be the Korean Veterans of the Bay.

star 10:15am – 11:00am ~ Mayor Paul Wellenberger  will be signing a Proclamation designating Fairfield Bay as a Purple Heart Community honoring all Purple Heart Veteran Recipients of the FFB  at 10:15 at Woodland Mead Park following the parade with other festivities, food & children’s games in the park until 11:00am sponsored by the FFB Library.

star  7:00pm ~ Fireworks celebration will be held at the Marina in the evening. FFB Recreation Bus Shuttle to Fairfield Bay Marina for the fireworks will begin at 7:00pm. Make sure to get there early, bring your lawn chairs and enjoy the display of our annual fireworks!!!
